Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher for our Udupi location within the Podar Education Network. This full-time position at a junior level requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience. The role involves nurturing young minds in a supportive and enriching environment, ensuring that children have a strong foundational education in their formative years. Candidates must be passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere. Qualifications and Skills Proven expertise in early childhood education, ensuring all activities and lessons are age-appropriate and effective (Mandatory skill). Advanced classroom management skills, capable of maintaining a conducive and disciplined learning environment (Mandatory skill). Deep understanding of child development to tailor teaching strategies effectively and support individual growth (Mandatory skill). Experience in lesson planning that aligns with curriculum goals and addresses the diverse learning needs of young children. Strong skills in parental communication to effectively engage with parents and address their concerns to support each child's learning journey. Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the changing needs of students, ensuring each child receives the best possible education. Proficient in conducting behavioral observation to monitor child progress and identify areas requiring additional attention. Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well within a team to foster a supportive educational environment. Roles and Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and implement educational activities and lessons that cater to the holistic development of children. Establish a nurturing and positive learning environment where children feel secure and valued. Monitor the learning and development of each child and provide feedback to parents and caregivers regularly. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs and interests of the students. Foster social skills and respectful interaction among children, encouraging teamwork and collaboration. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment conducive to effective learning and play. Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to enhance educational and extracurricular programs.
