Role & responsibilities Job description: New Product development Engineer - Automotive We are looking for this position at our molding rubber parts manufacturing plant at Chakan Pune. Company Address: Phase 4, Plot no. PAP A, 29/19, MIDC, opp. Mahindra Material gate 8A, Nighoje, Chakan, Maharashtra 410501, India Responsibilities First single point contact to customer and tool maker during NPD Project Management and planning Coordination with customers and tool makers to meet NPD timeline and visit at customer locations on a regular basis Tool makers follow ups to meet timeline Knowledge about rubber compression and transfer tool Design and Development Documenting NPD on a regular basis through standard company documentation. Handling the NPD process independently Preferred candidate profile 1-4 years of experience in NPD and Automotive industry is MUST Knowledge IATF 16949,VDA6.3 ,PPAP, MTC reports, FPIR, and NPD checksheets Knowledge about Feasibility study ,APQP ,PPAP,PFMEA ,Control plan ,MSA ,PFD Knowledge and understanding GD&T. Hands on experience on Catia V5 will be added advantage Knowledge of Process Audit, Product Audit, System Audit, Certification Audit. Knowledge about Rubber compression mould , Transfer mould design and development. Developing new process concepts for production optimization ,yield improvement and developing guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities on the shop floor.
