NPD Engineer

As a New Product Development (NPD) Engineer at our leading automotive accessories manufacturing company, your role will involve designing and developing new products such as car mats, mud flaps, and similar components. You will be responsible for taking these products from concept to production, utilizing your expertise in using NX / Unigraphics CAD software for 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawings. Your strong understanding of plastic and rubber part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes will be essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new automotive products, focusing on car mats, mud flaps, and related components - Coordinate closely with internal teams including R&D, tooling, production, and quality to ensure feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with automotive standards - Conduct DFMEA, support prototyping and testing, and implement design modifications based on feedback and validation results Qualifications Required: - Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience - Hands-on experience with NX / Unigraphics CAD software - Strong knowledge of plastic and rubber part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes - Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively Joining our team presents a great opportunity to work in an innovative and growing organization, contributing to the development of the next generation of automotive products.
