Npd Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Good exposure to Tool making process and hands on working knowledge in mold making / development & tracking tool development in various stages
• Collecting input requirements from Engineering & Tool Tracking from initial to Customer PTR and ensure on time delivery
• Tool cost estimation
• Floating RFQ with mold makers and choosing the right tool maker
• Support DFM & Tool design review with previous data
• Giving necessary inputs to tool maker to achieve the best quality of the tool.
• Close follow up with the toolmaker for meeting the timelines.
• Tool tryout and validation.
• Follow up and timely implementation of all required changes/corrections.
• Timely completion of the tool development
• Assuring minimal tool modifications/corrections during development and in production.
• Number of continual improvement projects in the running projects
• Should be a Team Player - with good communication skills
