Job Description

Position: NodeJS Developer

Location: REMOTE

Contract Position

4+ years of Node.js development, including 2+ years with Express.js.
Hands-on experience with OpenAPI, API Gateway, and Swagger for API design and management.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with solid knowledge of RESTful API design & development.
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Skilled in unit testing and TDD (Jest).
Ability to optimize, troubleshoot, and enhance performance of server-side applications.
Strong collaboration skills to integrate server-side with client-side applications.
Experience mentoring or guiding junior developers.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Prior experience leading and mentoring development teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
