Node.js Developer Intern

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs using Node.js. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

Integrate data storage solutions (e.g., databases, cloud storage).

Implement security and data protection measures.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the Node.js runtime environment.

Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API design.

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus.

Experience with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of other back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Django) is a plus.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
