Role Description

Infrabyte Consulting is looking for a motivated Node.js Developer Intern to join our backend engineering team. You will be responsible for assisting in the development of server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in building scalable network applications and working with asynchronous programming in a professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities

* API Development: Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.

* Database Integration: Help integrate data storage solutions, including relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

* Code Implementation: Write clean, readable, and testable JavaScript/TypeScript code.

* Performance Optimization: Support the team in identifying bottlenecks and optimizing server-side resources for better performance.

* Collaboration: Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Requirements

* Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

* Core Skills: Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and the Node.js runtime environment.

* Asynchronous Programming: Basic knowledge of Promises, Async/Await, and event-driven architecture.

* Tools: Familiarity with Git for version control and npm/yarn for package management.

* Problem Solving: Strong logical thinking and the ability to debug backend processes.
