Node.js Developer Intern

Main responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL for data storage, queries, and basic optimization.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate user-facing elements with backend services.
• Debug and fix issues, write simple tests, and help improve code quality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and maintain basic technical documentation.

Typical skills required

• Basic understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Node.js and at least one framework like Express.js.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP basics.
• Basic experience with databases (MongoDB, MySQL or SQL) and version control systems like Git.
• Problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
