Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, distributed systems, and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL, along with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js and related frameworks.
Design and implement event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure high-performance data operations.
Build and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and CI/CD integration.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations for scalability and reliability.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Maintain documentation for services, APIs, and system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks).
Strong proficiency with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and event streaming concepts.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization) and SQL fundamentals.
Good knowledge of MongoDB, including document modeling and aggregation pipelines.
Experience with asynchronous programming, message queues, and microservices architecture.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of caching technologies (Redis, Memcached) is a plus.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹689,681.15 - ₹1,384,511.71 per year
