Job Description

As a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to critically ill newborns and premature infants. Your responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing advanced nursing procedures while ensuring the highest level of medical attention is given to the most vulnerable patients. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to infants, supporting their health outcomes and development. Additionally, you will offer emotional support to families during challenging times, maintaining a clean and safe environment in adherence to infection control protocols. Your key responsibilities will involve providing direct and individualized nursing care to neonates in the NICU, monitoring vital signs and conditions of high-risk infants continuously, administering medications and intravenous fluids as per physician's orders, and conducting physical assessments to evaluate the health status of infants. You will also be responsible for managing specialized equipment, coordinating with healthcare teams to develop care plans, educating and supporting families on infant care, documenting patient care activities accurately, and maintaining clear communication among team members during shift handovers. To excel in this role, you are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience, a current nursing license, and certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a NICU or pediatric setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of neonatal diseases and interventions. You should be able to work shifts, including nights and weekends as needed, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and handle stressful situations with poise. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and comfort with diagnostic equipment for neonatal patients are essential qualifications for this position. In addition to your technical skills, you should have a deep commitment to patient care and family involvement, possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and be willing to engage in ongoing professional development and training in neonatal care. Your role will also involve participating in quality improvement initiatives within the NICU, supporting lactation and feeding processes for premature and sick infants, and collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. If you are passionate about providing high-quality care to newborns in the NICU, possess the necessary qualifications and skills, and are committed to continuous learning and development, we encourage you to contact Mr. Dharmendra at +91 70605 29025 to explore this rewarding opportunity further.,
