New Model Layout

Role Overview: As a Team Member, your main responsibility will be to decide layout requirements in new model design and prepare layout package drawings and databases. You will interact with the engineering, styling, and project management teams to determine layout parameters. Your role will involve packaging various systems/sub-systems in the vehicle while considering clearances, tolerances, and regulatory aspects. Additionally, you will conceptualize different vehicle layouts based on platform constraints and benchmark competitor vehicle layouts and platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Decide layout requirements in new model design - Prepare layout package drawings and databases - Interact with engineering, styling, and project management teams - Package various systems/sub-systems in the vehicle - Conceptualize different vehicle layouts based on platform constraints - Benchmark competitor vehicle layouts and platforms Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering - Technical proficiency in vehicle systems/sub-systems, packaging strategy, and occupant packaging strategy - Excellent knowledge of CAD software such as UG NX and other vehicle packaging software - Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint - Proven experience in vehicle occupant packaging, system packaging, and platform design - Thorough understanding of automotive engineering guidelines and standards (e.g., SAE and AIS) - Ability to understand engineering requests and deliver as per expectations - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - Driving experience is essential,
