Position

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient neurology consultations, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Lead acute stroke management: assess candidates for IV thrombolysis, coordinate with interventional teams, and implement stroke pathways.
• Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic procedures—EEG, EMG/NCS, lumbar puncture—and integrate findings into clinical management.
• Manage neurological emergencies and collaborate with ICU teams for neurocritical care cases; supervise post-procedure monitoring and escalation.
• Establish and run speciality clinics (epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders), and deliver procedures such as botulinum toxin injections where indicated.
• Mentor junior doctors and trainees, document clinical care in electronic/medical records, and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• EEG interpretation
• Electromyography (EMG)
• Nerve conduction studies（NCS）
• Neuroimaging interpretation (MRI/CT)
• Acute stroke management and thrombolysis protocols
• Lumbar puncture and CSF analysis
  

Must-Have (Qualifications & Experience)

• DM Neurology or DNB Neurology (completed)
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
• Demonstrated clinical experience in acute stroke care and neurodiagnostics in a hospital setting
  

Preferred

• Fellowship or formal training in stroke, clinical neurophysiology, or movement disorders
• Experience administering botulinum toxin for movement disorder indications
• Prior exposure to neurocritical care and teleneurology clinics
