Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales and Business Development professional in the LAN/WLAN space, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing sales deals. You will also play a crucial role in client relationship management by building strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their networking needs, and providing tailored solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to possess in-depth product knowledge of LAN and WLAN technologies, including hardware and software aspects. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the LAN/WLAN space - Generate leads and close sales deals - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients - Understand client networking needs and provide tailored solutions - Possess in-depth knowledge of LAN and WLAN technologies - Assist clients in designing network solutions - Prepare proposals and present technical solutions and product demonstrations - Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the networking industry - Work closely with internal teams for successful project delivery - Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and document sales activities Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols) - Experience with network devices from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme Networks, Avaya, etc.) - Proven track record of achieving sales targets, building relationships, and closing deals - Good written and verbal communication skills - Problem-solving abilities - Commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field - 6-8 years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or technical roles within the networking industry (Note: No additional details of the company are mentioned in the provided job description),
