Job Description

Assist in establishing the networking environment by following system configuration guidelines and supporting system installation.

Provide basic support to technical and non-technical staff to define requirements and deliver solutions.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and collaborate on network optimization.
Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information.
Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
Undertake device management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices.
Liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers, and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
Speak to customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture and resolution of issues within defined SLA.
Maintain and review network infrastructure inventory – network device & internet link details, ISP dockets, and network diagrams.
Ensure 24x7 availability in case of network outages or critical issues.
