Network Technician

Job Summary

We are hiring a Network Technician with 2–4 years of experience in network cabling and infrastructure work. The role involves cable laying, fiber work, LAN/WAN installation, and access point configuration.

Responsibilities

• Lay and manage CAT6/CAT6A network cables
• Perform OFC laying, splicing, and basic testing
• Install and troubleshoot LAN & WAN networks
• Install and dress network racks and patch panels
• Do I/O port punching, testing, labeling, and port mapping
• Configure wireless access points
• Conduct cable and fiber testing (OTDR/Fluke)
• Provide on-site installation and maintenance support
• Maintain basic documentation of daily work

Preferred Skills

• CCTV installation and configuration (HD & IP)
• Intercom system setup and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of NVR/DVR and access control systems
• Basic understanding of routing and network security

Experience Required

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in networking and cabling projects
• Good understanding of structured cabling standards and fiber splicing
• Ability to work independently and support on-site teams

Education

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech (or relevant technical qualification)
• Certifications like CCNA or Fiber Splicing are a plus
