Network Support Engineer

Role Overview: As a Network Support Engineer with CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) Certified Administrator credentials, you will play a crucial role in managing and troubleshooting both on-premises networks and cloud-based services. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining network hardware, monitoring network performance, managing user access, implementing security measures, backing up data, creating documentation, recommending upgrades, optimizing network storage, and providing technical support to users. Key Responsibilities: - Install and maintain equipment: Set up, configure, and maintain network hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. - Monitor network performance: Analyse network speed and stability, and troubleshoot issues. - Manage user access: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. - Implement security measures: Utilize security tools like firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems. - Back up data: Regularly back up data to ensure protection. - Create and maintain documentation: Develop technical support documentation for network systems and applications. - Recommend upgrades: Test and implement system and security upgrades. - Optimize network storage: Collaborate on cloud-based storage options and physical organization solutions. - Provide technical support: Offer second-level technical support to users. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. - CSP Administrator Certification (Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator). - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall concepts. - Analytical skills to identify network problems and determine solutions. - Knowledge of access points, routers, and switches. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.,
