Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – C/C++ on Linux Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in C/C++ development on Linux platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals, experience in security technologies, and a proven track record of building high-performance, real-time, multi-threaded applications for complex systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C/C++ applications on Linux platforms. Architect and re-engineer critical data path software modules for enhanced performance and scalability. Work with large, complex codebases to introduce improvements and optimizations. Implement secure coding practices, including fixes for vulnerabilities and compliance with security standards. Develop and optimize IPv4/IPv6 socket-based applications for multi-core, multi-threaded environments. Integrate and enhance security technologies such as ZTNA, Web Filtering, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, performance goals, and integration strategies. Perform detailed code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging. Take complete ownership of assigned modules and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. 8–12 years of hands-on development experience in C/C++ on Linux. Strong foundation in software engineering principles, architecture design, and performance engineering. Expertise in developing real-time, multi-threaded applications on multi-core platforms. In-depth knowledge of security protocols, SSL/TLS, and secure software development practices. Proven experience in handling vulnerability reports and implementing secure code fixes. Development experience in v4/v6 socket programming. Skills & Competencies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of self-motivation. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration. Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of complex software modules.
