"Network Patching Engineer"

Job Title Network Patching Engineer

Work Mode – Hybrid

Exp

Loc: Pan India

Notice Period:

Required Qualifications:

12 to 15+ years of hands-on networking experience, with a focus on network patching and maintenance and at least 5 years focused on patching and upgrades.
Deep technical knowledge of Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, Palo Alto PAN-OS, Juniper JUNOS, F5 TMOS or similar.
Strong background in network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, VPN, etc.).
Proficiency in performing firmware/OS patching in high-availability and mission-critical environments.
Demonstrated experience working directly with Cisco TAC or equivalent vendor escalation.
Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark, CLI debugs, and syslog/SNMP monitoring.
Solid understanding of change management, ITIL patching processes, and incident handling.
Excellent scripting/shell knowledge (Python, Ansible, Bash) for patch automation (preferred but not mandatory).
