Network Operations Specialist

Job Title: Network Operations Lead / Technical Specialist L3 (Routing, Switching, Wireless, SDWAN, ACI)

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 8+ Years

Education: B.Tech with minimum 60%

Certifications: CCNP Certified, ITIL Certified

Working Days: 6 days a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for network infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless, and SDWAN technologies.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Design, configure, and implement network solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Work closely with L1/L2 teams to provide guidance, knowledge transfer, and technical escalations.
• Monitor network performance, analyze traffic, and ensure network security policies are adhered to.
• Maintain and support Cisco ACI environments, including policy creation, fabric management, and integration with physical/virtual networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution and network upgrades.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to maintain knowledge base.
• Participate in network capacity planning, design reviews, and deployment of new technologies.
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in networking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech) with >60% marks.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments.
• Strong expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, wireless technologies, and SDWAN solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI or similar SDN technologies.
• CCNP certification is mandatory.
• ITIL certification for understanding IT service management practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work 6 days a week.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation tools and scripting for network management.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to security technologies and network segmentation.
