Network L2 Engineer Operations

About the Role
We re looking for a hands-on Network L2 Engineer with deep expertise in SD-WAN technologies, network security, and traditional routing & switching. If you thrive in operational environments and enjoy working across multi-OEM platforms, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and deploy SD-WAN appliances (Cisco Viptela preferred)
Design and implement SD-WAN templates, policies, and orchestrators
Provide operational support across Cisco Umbrella, Duo, ISE, Meraki Wi-Fi, and Data Center technologies
Perform packet analysis, contingency drills, software upgrades, and performance optimization
Mentor L1 engineers and support audit compliance
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for escalations and fixes
Implement patches, updates, and workarounds based on OEM advisories
Qualifications
Education: B.E. (Electronics/Telecom/Computer) or B.Sc. (IT/Computer)
Certifications: CCNA / CCNP (R&S); SD-WAN certification is a plus
Skills & Experience
Area Requirements
SD-WAN Expertise Cisco Viptela, Versa, Meraki, Fortinet; multi-OEM experience preferred
Network Security ZBFW, DIA, IPS, AMP, URLF, ZTNA; QoS principles
Wireless Technology Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi
Routing & Switching Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience
Cloud Networking Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP (preferred)
Soft Skills Time management, multitasking, flexibility for off-hours maintenance
