Job Description

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you play a vital role in ensuring the operational continuity of our clients" IT infrastructure and systems. Your primary responsibility is to serve as the initial point of contact for clients, promptly addressing technical incidents and problems to maintain service reliability. By delivering first-line support for standard and low-complexity issues, you strive to uphold service level agreements without any misses. Monitoring client infrastructure and solutions forms a significant part of your daily tasks, enabling you to proactively identify and address potential problems before they escalate. You dedicate your efforts to investigating first-line incidents, identifying root causes, and providing essential support through telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat channels. In addition, you engage in maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes to ensure the seamless operation of client systems. Your role encompasses working across multiple technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, or Collaboration, allowing you to broaden your expertise. You actively contribute to updating and creating knowledge articles, seeking opportunities for process optimization, and supporting project initiatives as required. Furthermore, you actively participate in disaster recovery functions and tests to ensure the safety and integrity of client data. Maintaining service continuity through meticulous shift handovers, you report and escalate incidents promptly while striving for efficient and comprehensive resolutions. Your focus on delivering a positive client experience remains paramount, reflecting a client-centric approach in all your interactions. To excel in this position, you must possess entry-level experience in troubleshooting and support within an ICT organization, coupled with a solid understanding of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes. Your proficiency in using ITSM tools and ability to plan and adapt to changing circumstances are essential for success in this role. A client-centric mindset, effective cross-cultural communication skills, active listening abilities, and a positive work attitude are crucial attributes for thriving in a dynamic and demanding environment. Your commitment to putting in extra effort when needed, combined with a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing, will enable you to make a significant impact as an integral part of our global team at NTT DATA.,
