Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to manage, design, implement, and support enterprise-level IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in Routing & Switching, FortiGate Firewalls, Dell Servers, and HP Aruba Switches, along with strong troubleshooting and end-user support capabilities.

The role involves maintaining network availability, planning scalable infrastructure, and coordinating with vendors to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot L2/L3 networks (HP Aruba).
• Manage and maintain FortiGate Firewalls including VDOMs, Firewall Policies, NAT (Destination/Source NAT), VPNs MFA with Forti Tokens, SD-WAN and traffic shaping.
• Implement and support FortiAPs for secure wireless connectivity.
• Should have good knowledge on 802.1X authentications & Implementations
• Support and troubleshoot RDP, Citrix, and Zscaler VPNs.
• Plan and design scalable network architectures for future growth.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed network documentation and topology diagrams.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support, and escalations.
• Recommend end-user devices (laptops, desktops, peripherals) based on business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 58 years of experience in enterprise network and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching (VLANs, STP, MSTP, EtherChannel, OSPF)
• Hands-on experience in FortiGate Firewall configurations VDOMs, Policies, NAT, VPNs, Security Profiles (IPS/IDS, WAF, AV, DLP) and SD-WAN
• Experience with HP Aruba Switches, FortiAPs, and FortiGate WLC
• Enterprise grade Wireless technology implementation (802.1x auth)
• Proficiency in RDP, Citrix, and Zscaler VPN troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and vendor management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Manage Dell Servers (installation, configuration, and maintenance) will be added advantage
• Knowledge in managing Virtualization platforms Hyper-V, vSphere will be added advantage
• Certifications: CCNA Certified, Fortinet NSE4, or equivalent will be added advantage
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and network monitoring systems will be added advantage.
