Network & Infrastructure Engineer

You are an experienced Infrastructure Engineer responsible for managing the hospital's IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of hospital systems and applications. Your tasks include installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, monitoring server performance, managing network infrastructure, implementing storage solutions, collaborating on backup and disaster recovery solutions, providing technical support to hospital staff, conducting security audits, and staying informed about emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, to support hospital operations. - Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks for optimal performance and uptime. - Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, for secure and reliable connectivity. - Implement and maintain storage solutions like SAN and NAS systems for efficient data management. - Collaborate with IT team to design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions. - Provide technical support to resolve IT-related issues and ensure smooth operation of hospital systems. - Conduct security audits and implement best practices to protect hospital IT infrastructure. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for hospital IT operations. - Document IT infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. - Participate in IT projects and initiatives to support hospital growth. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, preferably in a healthcare setting. - Strong technical knowledge of server, network, and storage technologies. - Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies like VMware. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of IT security principles. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
