Infection Control Nurse

The Asian Heart Institute is seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse to play a key role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of infection control policies. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a safe healthcare environment. To excel in this role, you must hold a current RN license, possess certification in infection control, and exhibit strong communication skills. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records to uphold the provision of quality care and upholding professional standards through continuous education and development. Additionally, you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit and stepping in for the Infection Control Executive when needed. Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting orientation, induction, and refresher training for staff Nurses and contract staff on routine infection control procedures. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in nursing, hold a current RN license, and be certified in infection control within a healthcare setting. An in-depth understanding of infection control principles, practices, and regulations is essential. A positive, high-energy attitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, are also desired attributes.
