Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at our organization based in Trivandrum, you will play a crucial role in the IT infrastructure team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. By troubleshooting network issues and providing technical support, you will contribute to the smooth operations of our organization. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing networking solutions tailored to meet business requirements, monitoring network performance, and identifying connectivity issues. You will configure and manage security appliances to safeguard the network from external and internal threats, ensuring best practices are implemented. Additionally, you will conduct capacity planning, optimize network performance, maintain detailed documentation, and provide technical support to resolve network-related issues promptly. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, among others. Hands-on experience with network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls is essential. Expertise in network monitoring tools and operating systems/platforms like Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and Linux networking tools is desired. Familiarity with network security concepts and protocols is also necessary. Your soft skills will be equally important, including strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams, and attention to detail for effective system monitoring and performance optimization.
