Job Description

Job Summary:

Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and internet systems.
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages.
Collaborate with other IT teams to support voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
Implement security tools, policies, and procedures to safeguard the network infrastructure.
Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff.
Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Industry certifications such as
CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent
.
Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, VoIP, and QoS technologies.
Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, etc.).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes.
