L2 Security System Engineer About The Role :: Define critical security system KPIs for monitoring and maintain the security system availability.
Handling escalated tickets from L1 team related to Security infra systems. Resolve respective security infra domain related L2 Issue on IPA, LDAP, Linux system. Taking ownership of assigned solution and tracking changes. Patriciate in design review and provide recommendations. Identify the improvements and suggest for operation maturity. Advance troubleshoot of reported issue and work on resolution. Escalate to L3 or vendor support for High and Critical outages with detailed findings. Handle new security product integration and deployment activities. implementation of security change request for security product. Creates and maintains standard operating procedures and other similar documentation. Qualifications: Hands on experience in Linux systems (installation, patching, upgrade, troubleshoot issues) Hands on experience in any of Virtual platforms (OpenStack , ESXI, VMware, Kubernetes) At least Bachelors degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology or any equivalent degree/experiences. Excellent knowledge of networking concepts L2/L3 protocols, TCP/IP, PKI, routing, network troubleshoot. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as interpersonal skills to interact with team members, vendors and upper management 4+ years experience in network operations, network infrastructure POC and build, Network security. Excellent attention to detail Resilient and approachable with the ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast paced environment Ability to operate as a team player, work under pressure and with a flexible and positive attitude A self starter able to work independently but comfortable and effective working in a team environment. Commitment to accuracy and precision with all outcomes Ability to communicate written and verbally in English and Japanese (preferred). Good experience in any of the scripting language is must (Bash, shell, Perl, Python, Ansible) Certifications:Preferred Red hat Linux Administrator, CCNA, CKA.
