Network Engineer

Role : - Network Engineer CORE SKILLS: - CCNA, Wireless, routing protocols with BGP, virtual stacking of switch, HA configuration, MPLS, IPsec Tunnel, IPv6, VPN , Firewall and WAN DESIRED SKILLS: - Good understanding & configuring Switching and Routing protocols such as STP, VPC, VDC, PPP, MPLS, Route based/policy-based IPSec VPNs, L2/L3 VPN and GRE. CERTIFICATION: - CCNP Route and Switch and CCIE written JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Hands-on experience in firewalls ( Preferably FortiGate) or any. 2. Responsible for day-to-day Operations and administration on network infrastructure 3. Perform Installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment and network operating System 4. Responsible for network design, particularly troubleshooting and/or debugging network related problems. 5. Good Knowledge troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution and/or resolution recommendation activities to first- and second-level teams 6. Maintains inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities. 7. Develop and document systems standards for computer and network devices. 8. Provide technical support for the organization's Network infrastructure (Routers and Switches) 9. Manage and maintain Network devices such as Routers, Switches, firewalls 10. Router configuration and Troubleshooting. 11. Monitor Network performance and troubleshoot network issues. 12. Conduct network performance analysis and capacity planning 13. Document network configurations and changes 14. Participate in network upgrades and projects as required 15. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. 16. Perform troubleshooting and defect analysis of WAN/ISDN/MPLS/firewall/VPN issues. 17. Log, track and take ownership of network/connectivity issues and resolve issues to ensure Uptime and meet the agreed SLA. 18. Monitor and ensure network device connectivity across DC and MPLS Networks as per the pre-defined SLA.
