Department: IT Title: Network Engineer Location: Greece (Valid Work Permit Required) Status: Regular, Full-Time Experience 2-3 Years Known Languages: English & Greek (Mandatory) Travel Across the Europe for Project Implementation/Deployment POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with 23 years of hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining enterprise network and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in installing and configuring Cisco networking devices, Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, and managing core IT services such as Active Directory (AD), DHCP, and DNS. This is an on-site role based in Greece, and candidates must possess a valid work permit. Key Roles & Responsibilities: ▪ Install, configure, and support Cisco routers, switches, and Cisco UCS servers. ▪ Deploy and manage Palo Alto Networks and Check Point firewalls, including policy configurations and security best practices. ▪ Installation knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS services. ▪ Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and performance. ▪ Implement and support network security measures in line with organizational policies. ▪ Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks across network devices. ▪ Work closely with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution and project deployments. ▪ Knowledge of Structured cabling, such as patching the cables copper and fiber ▪ Maintain accurate documentation of network and server configurations. Required Skills & Qualifications: ▪ Minimum 23 years of professional experience as a Network or Systems Engineer. ▪ Hands-on experience with Cisco devices (routers, switches, servers). ▪ Experience deploying and managing Cisco, Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls. ▪ Familiarity with network protocols and services (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, etc.). ▪ Knowledge of Structured cabling and patching ▪ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ▪ Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. ▪ Must hold a valid work permit in Greece. ▪ Bachelors or Masters in IT or a related field.
