Network Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable, secure, and efficient computer networks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity, network security, and high availability for our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Install, configure, and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
• Implement and enforce network security policies and practices.
• Conduct regular system upgrades, backups, and patch management.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with business applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance for network-related issues.
• Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and security threats.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba networking devices.
• Proficiency in configuring firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
• Familiarity with network security practices and intrusion prevention systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of VoIP, SD-WAN, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with ITIL or Agile methodologies.
