Job Description

Role Description

Manage and support Meraki, Cisco Switches, including VLAN configuration, port settings, and network performance monitoring.
Configure and maintain Meraki Wireless networks (SSIDs, authentication, and performance optimization).
Assist in operating and troubleshooting Meraki SD-WAN for branch VPN connectivity and traffic policy enforcement.
Support deployment and maintenance of Palo Alto CloudGenix SD-WAN for secure WAN connectivity.
Coordinate with ISP providers for circuit provisioning, link monitoring, and escalation of issues.
Provide L2-level support for Prisma VPN and Global Protect VPN to ensure secure remote access.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches in data center environments.
Assist with AWS networking tasks including security groups (SGs) for secure access control.
Manage SSL certificate updates and renewals across AWS and network/security devices.
Troubleshoot and support Layer 2 protocols such as VLANs, STP, VPC, port channels, and EtherChannel.
Provide support for Layer 3 protocols including OSPF, BGP, static routing, and VRFs.
Monitor network health and performance, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Maintain and update documentation for network configurations, changes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Technical Skills

Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco, Meraki solutions, including Switches, Wireless Access Points, and MX SD-WAN devices.
Support implementation and maintenance of Palo Alto CloudGenix SD-WAN for secure and optimized WAN connectivity.
Provide L2-level support for Palo Alto Firewalls, including basic policy configuration and monitoring.
Assist in managing Panorama for centralized firewall visibility and reporting.
Monitor and maintain network security posture, ensuring adherence to defined security policies and standards.
Provide escalation support for complex issues across switching, routing, VPNs, and SD-WAN infrastructure.
Perform routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management for network and security devices.
Assist in capacity planning and performance monitoring for enterprise network infrastructure.
Manage IP address allocation using IPAM tools to ensure organized and efficient IP management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support basic AWS cloud networking (VPCs, Security Groups, VPNs, Direct Connect).
Create and maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and procedural documentation for operational readiness.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents as part of incident

Qualifications

Engineering or equivalent Graduate Degree
CCNA/CCNP Certification and any Palo Alto certification (optional).
