We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable, secure, and efficient computer networks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity, network security, and high availability for our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime. Install, configure, and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. Implement and enforce network security policies and practices. Conduct regular system upgrades, backups, and patch management. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with business applications. Provide technical support and guidance for network-related issues. Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures. Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and security threats. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba networking devices. Proficiency in configuring firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). Familiarity with network security practices and intrusion prevention systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar). Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of VoIP, SD-WAN, and virtualization technologies. Experience with ITIL or Agile methodologies.
