Key Functional Responsibilities:

1. Fabric Network Implementation:
o Configure and manage data center fabric solutions using VXLAN overlays and BGP EVPN control planes. o Deploy and troubleshoot leaf-spine topologies, ensuring redundancy and high throughput.
2. Routing & Switching Operations:
o Manage and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and eBGP/iBGP peering. o Ensure optimal path selection, route redistribution, and convergence behavior in multi-tenant networks.
3. Data Center Network Management:
o Operate under underlay-overlay architecture principles using vendor specific solutions (Cisco ACI, Arista CVX, Juniper EVPN, etc.). o Perform VLAN/VXLAN mapping, tenant segmentation, and Layer 2/Layer 3 integration across fabrics.
4. Operational Support & Troubleshooting:
o Act as an L2 escalation point for complex network issues across the data center.
o Use tools like packet captures, traceroute, NetFlow, and SNMP to analyze traffic paths and bottlenecks.
5. Automation & Documentation:
o Work with network automation platforms (Ansible, Python, APIs) for provisioning and configuration consistency.

o Maintain documentation of logical and physical network topologies, IP address plans, and configuration baselines.
