Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer (Firewall / Switching)

Experience: 3–4 Years
Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Location: Cochin

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in firewall management, switching, and overall network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments and ensuring seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls.
Manage L2/L3 switches, VLANs, trunking, and routing protocols.
Perform network monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
Handle VPN configuration (site-to-site and client VPN).
Manage network security policies, access controls, and risk mitigation.
Provide support for network-related issues to clients and internal teams.
Maintain network documentation and configuration records.
Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
3–4 years of hands-on experience in firewalls and switching.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and routing.
Experience with enterprise firewalls and managed switches.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Certifications such as CCNA, NSE, or equivalent are an added advantage.
