Job Title:

Job Brief:

Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, server administration).
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
Track system resource utilization, analyze trends, and conduct capacity planning.
Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting for issue resolution.
Follow configuration and change management policies to ensure approval and success of changes.
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the security team.
Coordinate with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
Certifications: CCNP (mandatory); CCIE and/or CISSP preferred.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
Solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
