 MS - Transition Location:Mumbai/Bangalore Design and implement Cisco-based network solutions, including routers, switches, and associated technologies, to meet organizational requirements. Optimize network performance, including routing protocols, VLANs, QoS settings, and redundancy strategies. Conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments to ensure the network can handle future growth. Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches, including setup and maintenance of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP). Implement and manage network policies and security features, including access control lists (ACLs) and network segmentation. Oversee firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes for network devices. Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to Cisco routers and switches, including connectivity problems, performance issues, and configuration errors. Utilize network diagnostic tools and logs to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with Cisco support and other IT teams to address advanced technical problems and ensure timely resolution. Monitor network performance metrics, including traffic patterns, latency, and bandwidth utilization, to ensure optimal operation. Prepare and present regular reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions to management. Implement best practices for network monitoring, alerting, and incident management. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Develop and enforce network design and configuration standards, policies, and best practices. Document changes, updates, and lessons learned to improve network reliability and performance. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users regarding Cisco networking issues and best practices. Develop and deliver training sessions and create user guides to enhance understanding and efficient use of network resources. Address user feedback and work to improve their experience with network services. Lead and support network deployment and integration projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts. Ensure that network projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal impact on operations. 7-10 years of experience with Cisco routers and switches in an enterprise environment, including hands-on experience with design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher required. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) is highly preferred. Additional certifications in network security or cloud networking are a plus. Extensive knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies, including configuration and management of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLANs, and Layer 2/Layer 3 services. Proficiency in network diagnostic tools and performance monitoring systems. Strong understanding of network security principles, including ACLs, VPNs, and network segmentation. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proven track record of handling high-pressure situations and delivering successful network solutions. Named Job Posting?
