As a Network Automation Developer in Nokias Network Automation team, you will leverage your expertise in IP network management and protocols like SNMP, NetConf, and gNMI to develop and test carrier-grade automation solutions, collaborate with passionate professionals on high-impact projects, and contribute to shaping the future of network management in a flexible, innovative environment.

You have:

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in software development and testing.


• Hands-on experience in software development using Java and Golang, Python , JavaScript with a good understanding of frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.


• Hands-on experience in writing test cases, raising defects, verifying fixes, patches & enhancements.


• Familiarity with automation frameworks (Selenium, Robot, Mocha, Cypress)


• Experience in developing Element Management Systems (EMS) or Network Management Systems (NMS) for telecommunication networks, with familiarity in managing network elements and understanding of network management protocols.


• Familiarity with network management and related protocols, including gRPC/gNMI (gRPC Network Management Interface), NETCONF (Network Configuration Protocol), and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).


• Experience with version control systems like Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Work with cross-functional agile teams in designing and developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems.


• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to refine technical requirements.


• Develop and maintain solid automation pipelines for cross functional use cases


• Work on developing simulations at network scale.


• Drive innovation by exploring new ideas, tools, and methodologies to enhance team performance and project outcomes.


• Contribute to challenging projects that push the boundaries of technology, working alongside some of the industrys brightest engineers.
