Job Description

Appian Developer (Level 2 Certified)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement
Appian BPM applications
using best practices.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Build and maintain
process models, interfaces, records, and reports
within Appian.
Integrate Appian applications with external systems using
Web APIs, REST, and SOAP services
.
Perform
unit testing, debugging, and code optimization
to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Support application deployment and post-production maintenance.
Document design and technical specifications for all development activities.

Required Skills

5+ years
of hands-on experience in
Appian BPM
development.
Appian Level 2 (L2) Certification
is
mandatory
.
Strong understanding of
Appian objects
(Process Models, Records, Reports, SAIL, CDT, Data Store, etc.).
Experience integrating Appian with
databases, APIs, and external systems
.
Proficient in
SQL
,
Java
, and
Web Services (REST/SOAP)
.
Good understanding of
Agile development methodologies
.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with the
Appian Cloud environment
.
Exposure to
Appian RPA, IDP, or Connected Systems
.
Knowledge of
DevOps tools
for CI/CD integration.

Education

Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology
, or related field.
Appian L2 certification
is required (L3 preferred).
