Network Architect

As a Network & Security Architect, you will play a crucial role as a member of the Systems Engineering team. Your primary focus will be on evaluating and proposing solutions related to Cloud compute, network, storage, and database infrastructure. You will be the key technical advisor, responsible for adopting new technologies and designing scalable, maintainable, and highly available data center solutions in alignment with the SDDC initiative. Your responsibilities will include serving as a subject matter expert for data center Network and Security solutions, driving the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies in support of cloud computing initiatives, and designing, implementing, supervising, and supporting next-generation hardware and software infrastructure. Additionally, you will collaborate with partners to conduct proof of concepts and deliver project, system, and technical documentation promptly. Providing Level 2/3 support for issue resolution and working with other IT personnel for problem resolution will also be part of your role. The desired skills and experience for this position include extensive administrative experience in network and security administration within data centers, hands-on experience with deploying firewall, load balancer, and switching solutions, and relevant expertise in Software Defined Network, particularly NSX. You should possess in-depth knowledge of diagnosing and resolving performance issues, deploying storage and backup solutions following best practice methodologies, and have a broad understanding and experience across various data center disciplines such as operating systems (Linux, Windows), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), storage systems (SAN, NAS), as well as network switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, data protection, and business continuity. Furthermore, strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for this role. You should also have excellent presentation skills, including the ability to conduct architecture and design meetings with partners effectively.,
