Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities: u Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking hardware. u Monitor network performance and availability; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively. u Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing schemes, and VLAN configurations. u Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user and group management, GPOs, OU structures, and domain controllers. u Handle user provisioning, de-provisioning, access controls, and authentication policies using AD. u Maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to ensure consistent and secure configuration across the network. u Support domain services like LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM protocols. u Manage network and directory security through policies, permissions, and monitoring tools. u Maintain documentation of the network and AD infrastructure, changes, and procedures. u Coordinate with vendors and ISPs to resolve network service issues. u Participate in audits and support compliance requirements (ISO 27001, etc.). u Support disaster recovery strategies including backup and replication of AD and critical network services.
