Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 6–8 years of experience as a Senior Network Administrator or similar role in enterprise environments.

Demonstrated expertise in network design, architecture, security, routing, switching, WAN/LAN/SAN support, and configuration.

Deep, hands-on experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Silver Peak (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting).

Extensive experience implementing and supporting Cisco switches, routers, cradle point, uplogix, Silver Peak SD-WAN, Aruba Wireless, and collaboration with ISPs.

Strong understanding of incident management, including emergency change implementation, troubleshooting outages, and mitigation of network failures.

Experience leading network upgrades, migrations, and implementing automation (ex: IP SLA).

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and serve as a dependable escalation and solutions point for networking issues.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills; ability to provide high-touch support to business-critical projects.

Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Network+ or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale enterprise networks or multi-site deployments.

Project management background or experience coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Exposure to cloud networking or hybrid infrastructure is a plus.

Network Monitoring & Performance:

Continuously monitor and analyze WAN/LAN performance using SolarWinds and Silver Peak visibility tools. Identify performance bottlenecks and proactively address network issues.

Incident Response & Troubleshooting:

Act as an escalation point for network issues, expertly addressing incidents surrounding network slowness, packet drops, and accessibility challenges. Provide deep troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Infrastructure Upgrades & Maintenance:

Lead and execute switch replacements, IOS switch upgrades, and Silver Peak appliance upgrades across multiple critical sites with minimal downtime. Coordinate and implement network change controls and emergency changes to prevent and resolve outages.

Automation & Reliability:

Implement and maintain advanced monitoring solutions such as IP SLA across 40+ sites to ensure tunnel reliability and enhance network automation.

Project Leadership:

Deliver hands-on, personalized attention to critical projects, ensuring high reliability and minimal service disruption. Proactively anticipate and resolve network issues, providing stakeholders with seamless and tailored technical support.

Technical Advisory:

Serve as a trusted technical advisor for the organization and its stakeholders, ensuring precise, responsive, and reliable network support.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

Engage with ISPs, hardware vendors, and internal project teams to coordinate multi-technology deployments, resolve issues, and enhance network architecture.
