Job Summary

The IT Network Administrator Projects is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure solutions across various project initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of enterprise networks, with expertise in Palo Alto and Cisco firewall technologies, Cisco Catalyst switches, DNA Center, wireless solutions, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructures for project-based initiatives.
• Configure and manage

  Palo Alto Firewalls

  to enforce security policies and protect against threats.
• Administer and troubleshoot

  Cisco Firewalls

  and

  Cisco Catalyst Switches

  to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Implement and support

  Cisco DNA Center

  solutions for network automation, monitoring, and analytics.
• Manage

  Cisco Wireless

  networks, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Deploy, configure, and monitor

  Web Application Firewalls (WAF)

  to secure web-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand network requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventories for all project-related deployments.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for network-related issues during project lifecycles.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in enterprise networking and security.

Key Skills

• Palo Alto Firewall

  : Advanced configuration, policy management, threat prevention, and troubleshooting.

• Cisco Firewall

  : Experience with ASA, Firepower, and related Cisco security platforms.

• Cisco Catalyst Switches

  : Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, STP, and port security.

• Cisco DNA Center

  : Familiarity with network automation, assurance, and analytics features.

• Cisco Wireless

  : Design, deployment, and management of enterprise wireless networks.

• Web Application Firewall (WAF)

  : Implementation and management of WAF technologies to protect web applications.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), OT Protocols and network troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with network monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Sc./IT/Electronics with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server administration.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration with a focus on project delivery.
• Hands-on experience in Cisco environment, Firewall Administration, Cisco ISE, Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers and cloud Networking.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.

• Mandatory experience working in the manufacturing industry

  , with understanding of production-critical systems and data recovery needs.
• Familiarity with RPO/RTO metrics and BCP planning.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE) are highly desirable.
