Network Administrator – AGM Inc., Guyana, South America Location: Mining Site, Guyana Type: Full-time, On-site AGM Inc. is looking for an experienced network administrator to support our IT operations at a gold mining site. You will manage system and network infrastructure, provide technical support, and ensure smooth IT operations for over 200 employees. Key Responsibilities Support users with hardware, software, and network issues (on-site, remote, and by phone). Install, configure, and maintain systems, servers, and network devices. Perform daily data backup and recovery tasks. Manage Active Directory, Azure, and Virtual Machines. Handle Tier 1–3 helpdesk tickets. Conduct routine system checks and troubleshoot issues. Support VHF radio and communication systems. Work in tunnels, open pits, plants, and other mining locations as required. Requirements Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science. At least two certifications (MCITP, MCSE, CCNP, VCP, Network+, Security+). CCNP preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years in system/network administration. Hands-on experience with: Active Directory Azure VMware/Hyper-V Data backup & recovery solutions Skills: Strong Windows administration and MS Office skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities. Other: Willing to travel; able to lift up to 15 lbs. Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote mining environment.
