Netsuite Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities

NetSuite Implementation Consultant who has industry expertise and/or a consulting background to lead operational business functions and workstreams within a NetSuite implementation.

In this position, you will play a critical role in the delivery of complex end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations, integrations, and business systems initiatives with a focus on procure-to-pay, design-to-build, and receipt-to-pack/inventory management processes.

Activities

• Lead and participate in business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions with clients to determine NetSuite system requirements
• Prepare current and to-be process documentation that presents the strategy, architecture and design of the proposed solution that effectively addresses these requirements
• Implement and configure NetSuite to address business needs and processes
• Provide consulting expertise utilizing industry experience, apply best practices and leverage a pragmatic mindset to facilitate clients' most complex requirements
• Contribute to the knowledge base and skill-set of the Consulting team by creating case studies and implementation best practices encountered during client engagements
• Provide leadership, ongoing training and development to junior consultants supporting projects

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Accounting or a related field
• 4+ years working with NetSuite, implementing or as an end user
• A passion for learning NetSuite product functionality

Desirable experience

• NetSuite Advanced Inventory Management, Advanced Order Management, and Advanced Procurement Features
• NetSuite Light Manufacturing, Manufacturing Work in Process, and/or Advanced Manufacturing Modules
• Understanding of Inventory Costing Methods including; Average Costing, Standard Costing, Lot/Serial Number Specific Costing, and FIFO/LIFO.
• NetSuite Demand/Supply Planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Functionality
• NetSuite or 3rd Party Application Experience with the following functionality:
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Quality Management Software (QMS)
• Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Product Lifecyle Management (PLM)
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
