NDT Inspector - Castings & Large Steel Fabrication

As an NDT Inspector at Siemens Energy, your role involves independently performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on components for gas and steam turbines, both on-site and with the help of suppliers. Your responsibilities include conducting inspections in compliance with specifications, reviewing technical documentation, and addressing deviations from supplier results by clearly describing them in technical terms and coordinating further actions with the cross-departmental team. Key Responsibilities: - Possessing 5+ years of relevant professional experience in NDT of cast components and large steel fabrication - Holding an educational background in mechanical engineering or similar field - Certification to ISO9712 or equivalent in VT, MT, PT, and UT at least Level II - Proficient in quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, RCA - Excellent collaboration and communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP - Being a great teammate with precise work, high initiative, and flexibility - Demonstrating consistent and self-confident behavior - Collaborating effectively across all levels of a global organization - Business fluency in English - Willingness to travel, both nationally and internationally Siemens Energy is a global company with a distributed team that is dedicated to developing sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
