Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support our Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in fabrication and inspection of filtration systems, pressure vessels, and related process equipment. The role involves hands-on inspection, quality documentation, coordination with third-party inspection agencies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-process and final inspections of pressure vessels, filters, strainers, and associated fabrication work. Review and interpret engineering drawings, WPS/PQR, and material specifications for compliance. Prepare and maintain quality documentation , including inspection reports, test certificates, traceability records, and material test reports (MTRs). Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPI) and clients during stage and final inspections. Support NDT activities including radiography, dye penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing, etc. Verify compliance with ASME, PED, IBR, and other applicable standards and codes. Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for customer audits and QA documentation. Maintain calibration records and ensure availability of required inspection instruments. Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and work with production and engineering to implement corrective actions. Ensure the implementation of quality systems and continuous improvement practices across the shop floor. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 3–7 years of experience in Quality Control in a pressure vessel/fabrication-based manufacturing industry Sound knowledge of ASME Section VIII, PED, IBR , and other fabrication standards Familiarity with welding processes, NDT methods, and documentation requirements Proficient in MS Office and documentation tools Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Preferred Skills: Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS-CWI) is a plus Experience working with ERP or quality management systems Exposure to Oil & Gas, Power, or Chemical process equipment inspection
