Proficiency in
Catia V5
, especially the
Advanced Machining Module (AM2)
.
Expertise in generating optimized toolpaths for
3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines
.
Practical experience in
tool prove-out
on high-speed CNC machines and refining NC toolpaths based on
First Article Inspection (FAI)
reports.
Strong knowledge of
Vericut
for NC program validation and creation of
shop floor setup sheets
.
Solid understanding of machining processes for
HMC and VMC milling work centers
.
Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings
,
COS
, and
TO
documents.
Good awareness of
cutting tools
and defining appropriate
cutting parameters
.
Experience in machining
Aluminum alloys
; exposure to
hard materials
like
Titanium
and
Stainless Steel
is a plus.
