Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central Developer with a strong techno-functional orientation. This role will support both external ERP deployments and internal application development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver scalable solutions using Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based NAV/BC applications.
  • Customize and extend Microsoft Dynamic NAV/BC using C/AL and AL.
  • Develop new modules and enhancements based on internal business needs.
  • Debug and resolve complex issues in NAV/BC environments.
  • Create patches and fixes for client and internal systems.

Techno-Functional Engagement

  • Liaise with internal departments (Finance, HR, Operations) to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate functional needs into technical specifications and application logic.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose NAV/BC-based solutions aligned with business processes.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reporting through ERP enhancements.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation for internal teams. Application Lifecycle & Support
  • Manage go-live activities and post-implementation support.
  • Break down large development projects into manageable work items.
  • Maintain version control and ensure codebase integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and deployment.
