Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Provide a highly competent level of technical services to international and domestic buyers, buying houses & the companys customers.
  • Selling sewing solutions to manufacturers and buyers/brand there by promote premium products.
  • Implementation of the Global Key accounts approvals and nominations.
  • Generating MIS reports, Forecast the segment developments and trend (machine, competition thread etc.)
  • Benchmark the qualities v/s competition.
  • Continuous improvement via training internal and external stake holders.

Role & responsibilities

  • Customer Understanding and insight (Identify decision maker to leverage technical advantages) Has Expertise on the range of company's products, service, and technical tools how to align commercial strategy with the customers needs. Fully competent in understanding Sewn Product manufacturing, end use application and future trends.
  • Has expertise to identify and recognise value-based opportunities for the company and the Customer and execute for mutual satisfaction.
  • Effective in all areas of communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Has the Technical Skills needed to be able to resolve customer technical problems using a solution-oriented process.
  • Proficiency in Digital knowledge, computer skills and technical tools needed to offer effective solutions for customer.
  • Team building with growth mindset, compliance, and plan succession.
  • Effective communication with commercial leadership team and branch managers/commercial leaders for regular updates
  • Conduct regular technical seminars for external customers and internal sales and support service teams.
  • Conducting PES, Thread audit, Training programs, Workshops etc coming under the Company's sewing solutions.
  • Communicate to all stake holder (internal and external) the value of benefit delivered and seek acknowledgement.
  • Implement TAS/TCR/SW/Coats Tech Connect APP, ensuring the procurement is made as per our recommendations.
  • Conduct regular mill and sewing trainings.
  • New product launch and deep penetration in the marketplace.
  • Gain local specifications for the companys products from buyers & buying houses.
  • Liaising with other GKA personnel (both national & international) to deliver a service & product offering consistent with the company’s global effort.
  • On the job training of sales account owners making him/her more efficient, technically competent & result oriented.
  • Build & reinforce the concept of ‘one stop shop’ for all the customers technical needs.
  • Coordinate & Effective utilization of the marketing team. Effective utilization of the marketing, promotional materials developed by the marketing team
  • Liaising with manufacture, QAD, CS team to improve product quality as per market need and analyse the complaints on regular basis.

Preferred candidate profile

  • B. Tech Textile.
  • Candidate from Production, Technical Service, Quality and Industrial Engineering background.
  • 7-10 Years of experience.
  • Candidate from Garment Manufacturing – Mandatory.
