Job Description

As the National Key Account Manager at the company, your role involves leading and expanding the Food Services business across national and strategic accounts such as QSR, Airlines, Cafes, and HORECA. Your primary responsibility is to drive business growth through strategic partnerships, deeper penetration with existing customers, and unlocking new accounts by leveraging General Mills" product portfolio. Additionally, you will directly manage national key accounts within the Bakeries business to support the wider Bakeries sales team. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing the national Food Services strategy aligned with business objectives - Identifying growth opportunities across various channels and building joint business plans with top customers - Co-creating menu and category opportunities by leveraging General Mills" product portfolio - Leading relationships with Food Services accounts and expanding penetration within customer menus - Negotiating annual trade terms, contracts, and activations with Food Services accounts - Managing the national Bakery key accounts to ensure growth in alignment with the overall Bakeries strategy - Partnering with Marketing, R&D, and QA to create customer-specific innovations and customized solutions - Driving visibility, promotions, and activations in Food Services channels to enhance consumer connect - Achieving planned sales, distribution, and profitability targets for Food Services - Ensuring effective utilization of trade spends and marketing budgets - Collaborating with Operations & Supply Chain for demand planning, service levels, and stock availability - Working with Finance/FP&A for account profitability and spend effectiveness - Providing guidance and acting as a senior resource to Key Account Managers in the Food Services team You will interface with internal teams such as Marketing, R&D/QA, Operations & Supply Chain, and Finance for various aspects of the business. Externally, you will engage with stakeholders of Food Services accounts, National Bakery key accounts, and agencies/partners for activations and promotions. For this role, the ideal candidate should have an MBA in Marketing/Sales and 8-12 years of Sales & Key Account Management experience in the FMCG/Food industry, with a minimum of 3-4 years in Food Services at the regional or national level. Key skills required include strategic thinking, negotiation, relationship management, P&L ownership, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.,
